Roswell

TV serie was aired in 1999 and continued to 2002. It was written by Melinda Metz.

Inspired by alleged 1947 UFO crash near the city of Roswell (New Mexico), the show focuses mainly on human-alien relationship. The four Roswell aliens (eg. human/alien hybrids) look just like humans, but they are different inside. They have "supernatural" abilities and a mission to save their own race, which is destroying itself in the war.

Their mission comes in through their dreams and visions, making the serie an excellent character show, and of course an excellent SF show.

Al-Qaida No. 2 al-Zawahri says US options in Iraq all bad

Al-Qaida's No. 2 said in an audiotape released Friday that the United States will lose whether it stays in Iraq or withdraws, and he sneered that President Bush just wants to pass the problem on to his successor.
